About the project

I was contacted to do a video kicking off the tryouts for the local IFL team. In pre-production I wrote down all my ideas and organized them, then later refined them for a specific feeling I was looking to shoot for. I wanted something that showed the “readiness” and “unsure and on edge” environment caused by the tryouts. I knew that the angles would be slightly limiting due to the smaller location, so my post production process would need to incorporate those aspects. I also wanted to be low profile as well as to not effect the ability of those around me. Overall the shoot went well and everyone had a good time.
